The magnifier fitted in the
finder will not meet every and all requirements. For this reason the
magnifier attachment is used, to improve focusing, particularly for
close-ups. It is fastened on the camera instead of the magnifier or prism
attachments. Magnification of the groundglass image will be 3.6x. And when
used with a eyesight correction lens, ranging from -4 to +2, also
wrong-sighted persons will be able to focus exactly. The magnifier is
covered by a rotatable eye cup which excludes disturbing stray light.
