4. Arrangement of the
product
|
The
design of the objective lens allows to photograph objects
situated at a distance from 2.2 m to infinity and to take
one-fourth scale pictures at a distance of 2.2 m and
one-sixth scale pictures at a distance of 3.3 m.
M 105x1 thread on the front part of the mount serves to screw in the lens
hood, light filters or other attachments.
A distance scale 1 serves for tentative focusing of the objective
lens, when the approximate distance to the object to be
photographed is known. The values of the distances are shown
on the scale in meters (m) and in feet (ft).
The focusing of the objective is made by rotating the focusing ring 2
that has a decorative covering.
The turning ring 3 is used for fastening the objective lens to the
stand (for this purpose a seat 4 with 1/4" inched
thread is used.
|
5. Order of
operation
5.1. The installation of the objective to the camera
Remove rear lid and
make sure that bayonet ring or thread are clean, beforu you
install the objective to the camera.
When mounting "MC Rubinar-K 5.6/500 Macro" with "Oprava-K" bayonet joining
to the camera, bring marks (in the form of red dots) on the
bayonet ring of the objective info coincidence with the
bayonet ring of the camera and turn the objective clockwise
up to the stop.
The "MC Rubinar 5.6/500 Macro" that has thread mount, is screwed in to the
camera up to the stop. |
5.2.
Fastening the objective on the stand
It is recommended to
take pictures from the stand, since the objective lens is
rather massive.
The possibility of swinging the frame through any angle is provided, when
taking pictures from the stand. For this purpose slacken the
screw 5 a little and swing the lens througt the angle
required. Doing this, the objective lens is rotating
together with the camera, and the turning ring 3, fastened
to the stand remains tripod. Then fix the lens in the
turning ring with screw 5. |
5.3.
Focusing the objective lens
| Focusing is made by
rotating the focusing ring 2 till receiving the best
sharpness of the photographed object, visible on the
focusing screen of the camera. |
5.4.
Operating the attachments
Lens hood, that is
part of the complete set is used to prevent the
beyond-the-frame beams from the bright light sources (the
sun, the electric bulb, etc.) to fall on the film.
N-4x light filter-neutral, is used to reduce the illumination of
the object to be photographed, when there is no other
possibility to reduce the quantity of light falling on the
film.
O-4x light filter-orange, is used when taking pictures of a distant
object, for reducing the atmosphere mist, as well as to
photograph snow landscapes in sunny weather. The light
filter provides the contrast of image: the sky is displayed
dark, the clouds are reproduced relief, red hues become
distanctly lighter.
UV-1,4x light filter- colorless, is used to slacken the influence
of ultraviolet rays, which is extremely important when
photographing high in the mountains or on the water. It is
also used when taking pictures on the color film to
eliminate the undesirable effect of ultra-violet rays. |
6.
Maintenance and storage of the lens
Camera lens is a
complicated sensitive optical instrument. It should be
handled with care, kept clean and protected from strokes,
dust, moisture, drastic temperature differences, prolonged
exposure to sun radiation.
When you bring your camera lens from the cold into the warm room, don't
hasten to take it out of the carrying case, since optical
parts may sweat. Keep the cameras lens in the carrying case
for not less that 3 hours.
The optical parts of the lens have antireflecting coating on their
surfaces. Protect them from moisture, don't touch
optical parts with fingers.
Wipe optical parts, when necessary, with clean soft cloth carefully, so
that not to damage the antireflecting coating. Clean the
lens with the circular motions, gradually moving from the
centre to the edges.
Flick off the dust from the optical parts with a soft degreased hair
brush.
Put on lids on the camera lens between the photographies. Keep it the
carrying case.
It is not allowed to dismantle the camera lens. |
